On Tuesday October 29, 2019, the first meeting of a dozen of candidates for the volunteer internship in the HC Kosice Media Team took place in the premises of the Hall of Fame of HC Kosice. The meeting was attended by the Marketing Director from the company Ness, Stanislav Mucha, and by the Executive Manager of HC Kosice, Vojtech Petty.

After watching a gripping memorial video about the hockey in Kosice, the potential candidates for the cooperation paid attention to the interesting presentation the aim of which was to give insight into the functioning of the club in the area of marketing, media and PR. During the presentation, the candidates could hear the information about the individual editorial positions and duties related to them that may not be so obvious on the outside but are very important for the functioning of the club. These concerned mainly the areas "PRESS – PHOTO - EVENT".

During an open and direct communication, requirements for the individual positions and for the membership in the Steelers family were explained.

Of course, the candidates were also given an opportunity to present their interests and visions of cooperation.

At the end, the Executive Manager, Vojtech Petty, prepared a little surprise for the candidates. He practically gave the candidates an opportunity to test their skills at their desired job position during the upcoming two matches of HC Kosice against Budapest and Nitra. "Young people are creative, inventive, and we like working with them as you can see. However, they lack experience, which is understandable, and sometimes they lack also the broader perspective, which they will also gain throughout the time. I will be very happy, if Baška Halušková and Lucia Sajgóová, who have reached the professional level over a short period of time, find their followers," stated Mr. Petty at the end of the meeting.

Stanislav Mucha, the member of the Marketing Board of HC Kosice stated, "I am glad that so many candidates are interested in the cooperation. We already know that we will find 3 or 4 very talented workers among them, who will contribute to the media team in a large extent. In this respect too, the club has proved that it opens up to the community and give opportunities to everyone who wants to help it progress."
