After a preliminary match last week, one more match is waiting for HC Košice team. On Sunday, the team will travel to "Pustý hrad" to fight for 3 points in so called 6-point match with team from Zvolen. This attractive match starts on December 10 at 4:00 PM.

HKM Zvolen is very successful recently, as they lost only one match in November with Nitra. They won 9 matches of last 10. Zvolen has a stable team and we didn´t see any significant changes in composition of the team recently. Tim Coffman from USA is the most productive player in the team. He collected 27 Canadian points in 27 matches for 14 goals and 13 assistances. Another oversea player - Nick Ross from Canada - is on the second place. A 28-year old defender has 6 goals and 19 assistances in 27 matches. The Finish goalkeeper Jani Nieminen has effectiveness of saves 92.23% in 7 matches and the second goalkeeper Marek Šimko has effectiveness of saves slightly lower – 90.94%.

Zvolen team is on 3rd place of the Tipsport League chart after 27 matches with 55 points, i.e. 3 less than our team so far. Currently, the Zvolen team is on the 7 place in successful power plays and they were able to won only 16.33% of power plays. However, Zvolen is better in short-handed plays and they are on the third place of the chart. Currently, they have 85.19% of opponents´ power plays without any goal. Zvolen team is also very successful in face-offs. They won 54.58% of face-off and only Banská Bystrica is a better team.
