The time of declaration of taxes of companies and natural persons, in other words businessmen and employees is related to the possibility of 2% allocation for non-profit organizations. It's a special opportunity for HC Košice fans to help the club with their work with young talents and moreover to get a club souvenir.

 

What is the 2%?

2% tax allocation is a mechanism, which enables both companies and employed citizens decide, who will get 2 % from the tax that they pay to state. They can chose from a number of non-profit organizations, which are registered in this mechanism and meet the strictly determined legislative conditions. Civic Association Košice Hockey club deals with HC Košice young talents upbringing and this year again, it's possible to give these 2% to our Civic Association.

 

What can be the financial resources from 2% used for?

It's worth mentioning that the financial resources that the Civic Association collects, can only be used for strictly determined purposes, such as for the support and improvement of body culture (you can find detailed specification on thiswebsite- click here). At the same time, the Civic Association, which accepts more than 3320 € from 2%, must officially publish the individual utilization purposes in the commercial bulletin.

 

What does Hockey club Košice use the money for?

Rastislav Rusič, the executive director of HC Košice: „Hockey is an expensive sport and the club contributions from parents of our children cover just a small % of costs related to their upbringing. Therefore, each euro is helpful in creation of better conditions for the young players. We would like to use the finances acquired from 2% for the purchase of hockey equipment, material, for covering traveling costs or for co-financing the tournaments. This system has been working in Slovakia for years and my opinion is, that it's a golden opportunity for the hockey fans to "painlessly" help us bring up the young talents. Each contributor will be rewarded

HC Košice decided to reward all contributors with a club souvenir. Now, the form contains a box to be ticked, by which you can express your consent to send your name to the club. In other words, the club gets the list of contributors (not the sums), who contributed 2% to our Civic Association. These contributors will get a club souvenir at the end of January 2019. This way, we would like to create a yearly tradition, due to which we will support Košice young players upbringing.

 

If you want to contribute 2% and get a present, please, follow these steps:

1. After you have filed the declaration of taxes, please, fill in the club initials into the 2% allocation form and put a tick into the box specified as "I agree with the data being send" (see the annex with filled out sample form). You should consult your accountant or a HR employee over the form filling. It's necessary to file the form with the respective revenue authority. 4.

3. The club will inform you about club souvenir delivery in January 2019. Be careful! Steps #1 and #2 are necessary for getting the souvenir.

 

To those of you, who have not contributed the 2% from your tax so far, we suggest you to inform the company accountant, economist or HR employee that you wish to allocate 2% from you tax to the Civic Association Hockey Club Košice and to send her these data:
