ADDED: 6.11.2019

The Slovak Ice Hockey Federation nominated players for the national team for the upcoming tournaments. A sizeable group of our hockey players of different categories got an opportunity to wear the most precious uniform.

From 6th November until 10th November, the senior representation will play in the traditional Deutschland Cup, where it will compete with the opponents from Switzerland, Russia and Germany.

Five players from Kosice were supposed to wear a uniform with a double cross on the chest, which is the highest number of players from all Slovak teams in the top league. However, everything turned out differently.

Vojtech Zelenak, our talented defenseman, got a premier invitation to wear the most valuable uniform in the senior category at the tournament in Kradeld. However, he has still not fully recovered from his injury. The duo of experienced forwards got the invitation from Craig Ramsay to participate in the meeting in Bratislava on 4th November 2019: Marcel Hascak, who is the top scorer of Tipsport League, as well as Michal Chovan. However, due to their injuries they are not able travel, so instead of them, Andrej Kosaristan, the most successful goalie in Tipsport League, and Patrik Koch, last year's participant of the World Championship, will travel to Germany to strengthen the defense.
